Nursing Assistant for the Lung and Allergy Clinic

Medicincentrum is part of Norrland University Hospital and is a large clinic with approximately 300 employees. We are engaged in exciting development work aimed at influencing and developing the future of healthcare in the field of internal medicine. The operations cover a large part of the internal medicine field: emergency medicine, gastroenterology, lung and allergy medicine, endocrinology and diabetes, as well as nephrology.

The Lung and Allergy Clinic provides planned specialist care for patients with conditions such as asthma, COPD, and other lung diseases. We work with outpatient visits, patient education, and follow-up with the goal of creating security and increased quality of life for our patients. Here you will meet a varied patient group and become part of an operation where quality, competence, and teamwork are at the center. RESPONSIBILITIES

As a nursing assistant with us, you contribute to taking good care of others and helping people feel better.

You will primarily work with spirometry, walking tests, sample collection, sterile setup, assisting with treatments, healthcare administration, and have phone contact. The Lung Clinic offers varied tasks, and you will work both in a team and independently.

You will meet and care for internal medicine patients at the clinic while participating in development work that will contribute to the future of healthcare. This is because Medicincentrum in Umeå has a unique competence in highly specialized care.

QUALIFICATIONS

For this job, you need to be a trained nursing assistant. It is an advantage if you have an interest in working with medical technology equipment and computer programs. Experience in outpatient work or experience in the operational area with spirometry and lung function is an advantage.

You are a present and secure person who enjoys varied tasks and changing intensity. You have the ability to prioritize between tasks. You enjoy working in a team as well as working independently and you are passionate about the personal meeting with the patient.
